So, if you haven’t noticed our complete lack of communication as of late, it’s because the SchoolNet server (the NGO that gives schools in Namibia internet for super cheap) busted and it doesn’t seem like they’re in a big rush to fix it. At this point you may be wondering about that lovely internet cafe in Oshakati we used to frequent– well, it’s closed. This means we are internet-less for who knows how long.
This weekend, however, we are in Windhoek! This means hot showers, restaurants, and a movie theater (SEX AND THE CITY COMES OUT HERE TODAY!!!!!!)… not to mention spending time with fellow volunteers.
I’ve written several posts, but unfortunately the internet cafe doesn’t allow jump drives, so expect a blog attack as soon as our internet is fixed.
